Community Block Development Grants
These funds help communities carry out a wide range of community development activities directed toward revitalizing neighborhoods, economic development, and providing improved community facilities and services.

  • Cranston, East Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Warwick and Woonsocket operate their own CDBG programs. Contact your municipal planning department.
  • Projects in other Rhode Island municipalities may apply for State Community Development Block Grants from the R.I. Office of Housing and Community Development
