Regulations & Review

A core function of our office is regulating both preservation projects and new developments that impact historic resources in some way. New and old can live side by side, we just serve to make sure valuable historical information and building fabric aren't lost as Rhode Island evolves. 

As a government agency, we're also committed to high levels of public involvement and transparency. Information about attending public meetings and/or making a request for public records are available at left.
