Bario Tour & Storytelling with RI Latino Arts

The original Café Recuerdos art installation, created by artist Ana Flores, will be on display on Broad Street until May 31, 2023.

Come for a walk with RI Latino Arts through Broad Street, aka La Callé Broa' and then join Sussy Santana at the Gateway Center (1197 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02907) to reflect on what you learned through storytelling / story-collecting activities. Refreshments will be served.



If you do not participate in the Barrio Tour, you can join them at the Gateway *after the tour to learn about Nuestras Raíces @RILA's oral history collection, and to contribute your story. .



Meet 15 minutes before the scheduled start time in the grass area of the Roger Williams Park @Broad Street entrance. The address you can use to search is 1232 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02905, and the location where we will be meeting is across the street.



Ample street parking is available on Miller Street or Broad Street, and also next to the tennis courts, to the right just after you enter through the Broad Street park entrance.
