Public Meetings

On February 18, 2022, Governor Daniel J. McKee extended Executive Order 22-01 Allowing Remote Participation in Public Meetings, extended by Executive Order 22-12 through March 19, 2022. It allows public bodies to conduct meetings in-person or in virtual format. 

All meetings start at 9:30am. The agendas will be posted at least 48 hours before the meetings. Meetings are open to the public. Anyone who requires the assistance of an interpreter or has other special needs should contact the Commission at least 48 hours in advance so they may be accommodated.

Commission

The regularly scheduled meetings of the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission will be on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am (except in November). State Review Board

The regularly scheduled meetings of the Rhode Island State Review Board will be held on the first Monday of alternating months (starting with February) at 9:30 AM. Use this list to find the agenda for an upcoming meeting or minutes for past meetings. The meeting location is indicated on the agenda.

State Preservation Grants Review Panel

The State Preservation Grants Review Panel is a subcommittee of the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission. The Review Panel held one meeting in 2021.
