St. Lucia Fest 2024! - Rhode Island Swedish Heritage Association | Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission

The Rhode Island Swedish Heritage Association (RISHA) invites you to the start of the Swedish holiday season with their annual St. Lucia Fest!

Swedes celebrate St. Lucia with a candlelit procession, and a representative of the saint wearing a crown of candles. Experience Swedish music and culture with this unique event! A reception will follow with Swedish cookies and refreshments.

The Lucia representative is awarded a scholarship of $1000. If you are, or know, a young woman between 15 and 24 you're eligible to apply. Contact riswedishheritage@gmail.com for more information.

Cost: $12 general public, $5 for kids aged 5-14. Free for kids under 5 years.
