2021 marks the 44th Celebration of Rhode Island Day of Portugal. Flag raising ceremonies in various cities and towns in Rhode Island have been scheduled. Honoring the Portuguese flag in what represents the official recognition of the Portuguese community’s presence and importance in the State of Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Day of Portugal has been hosting flag raisings ceremonies for the past 30+ years. It exemplifies their values and history—their struggles and their hope. Now that restrictions have been lifted, everyone is once again invited. Come celebrate with them!
