A free Irish Folk Music Concert & Ceili will be held Sat., Sept. 4 from 3-6 pm at King Park on the Newport waterfront.

The event features national award-winning Irish dancer Kevin Doyle and his latest project, "Roscommon Soles," with master players Mary Lee Partington, Sheila Falls Keohane, Tim Keohane, and Torrin Ryan playing inspired jigs, reels & ballads. Dancing encouraged!

Traditional ensemble, "Rhode To Dublin" opens the event at 3 pm with Newport's finest players: Jamie Lawton,Timmy May, Tom Perrotti and Jack Wright.

Free parking, lawn seating. Harbor views, shade trees, playground, beaches, and restrooms.

Presented by Newport Friends of the Waterfront with a grant from the Isham Family Fund as part of The Waterfront Concert Series at King Park, Newport, RI.
