About the Dragon Boat Festival + Dinner Event
Please Note - This event is divided into TWO PARTS, with two different ticket choices. You may choose to attend the time slot from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM for tea, wine, fruit and making traditional zongzi OR you may purchase a ticket for the entire event which includes the afternoon + the an evening of games, storytelling, wine, dinner, dessert, and an educational discussion!
2:30-3:00 PM: Arrival. Indulge in a cozy tea time with traditional Chinese drink, get acquainted with fellow participants, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
3:00-5:00 PM: Making Zongzi. Learn the art of Making Zongzi, traditional sticky rice dumplings, and unleash your creativity while crafting delectable dumplings.
5:00-7:00 PM: Wine & Fruits, Games, Stands, & Storytelling. Savor a delightful array of refreshing wine and fresh fruits, the perfect opportunity to mingle with other participants and share stories. Engage in handcrafts and lively games that bridge cultural gaps and foster connections. Listen to captivating stories from different cultures, celebrating the richness of our diverse global community.
7:00-8:00 PM: Dragon Boat Feast - A Gastronomic Voyage. Embark on a culinary voyage inspired by the Dragon Boat Festival, where delectable dishes from diverse cuisines will be presented. Savor the fusion of traditional flavors and contemporary delights, paying homage to this treasured festival.
8:00-8:30 PM: Sweet Delights - A Festive Finale. Indulge in an array of delightful desserts, curated to capture the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival. Let the sweetness linger on your palate as we bid farewell to a truly memorable celebration.
8:30 PM onwards: 'Formal' Discussion/Dialogue Concludes. Engage in thought-provoking discussions and exchange ideas with fellow participants. Feel free to stay and continue the conversation or bid farewell after an unforgettable experience.
