Mark your calendars for May 2nd for a co-sponsored event by the Tomaquag Museum and The Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice at Brown University

Dr. Jason Mancini, Center for the Study of Slavery & Justice Visiting professor, will discuss The Narragansett Chief, or The Adventures of a Wanderer, an autobiographical account of Indigenous mariners. 

Starting at 5:30 PM, Dr. Mancini will share his presentation on Indigenous people who found work through maritime labor.
