61st Annual Burns Night Supper and Dance - Scottish-American Soc. of R Date: January 25, 2025 — 5:45pm to 11:00pm Location: Rhodes-on-the Pawtuxet Ballroom, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston, Registration: https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/burnssupper/burns-supper-2025 The Burns Supper is an annual tribute to the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poet, Robert Burns (January 25, 1759- July 21, 1796). This special night includes traditional Scottish food, traditions and a Scottish Raffle, the reciting of Burns' "Address to a Haggis", bagpipe performances and dancing. Each year, one person has the honor of presenting "The Immortal Memory", to bring the life and work of Robert Burns to all the audience in an informative and entertaining way. We are pleased to announce that this year's presenter is St. Andrew's Society Member Audrey MacLeod Pfeiffer. At the end of the night, revelers gather in a circle with hands clasped on the dance floor and sing Auld Lang Syne! This is a formal event - Scottish dress is encouraged but not required!
